WHAT WE PLAYED FAQ
1) What are the "What We Played" threads for?
They let you reconnect with the other players and talk about what happened at the table, what worked and what didn't. Someone do something you thought was awesome? Give them some kudos. Do something in the game that in hindsight you wish you hadn't? Talk about it! We all make mistakes and it's much more fun to learn from them.
Talking about how different games work also lets other people learn something about the system you played and decide if it's something they'd like to try (or realize it's something they'd hate).
2) Do I have to write the whole story of what happened in the game? That seems like work!
You can if you want but it's *far* more useful to talk about what happened at the table, not in the fiction. How did the rules and your interactions with the other players create the story? Did some mechanic push you to come up with a neat idea or completely derail the plot? Did something someone said inspire you all and turn the game in a direction you didn't expect? That's useful stuff.
