This group is focused on the story of the game rather than the game mechanics. If you enjoy a great story book and wish you could be part of the stories you read and shape the outcome of the stories, then this group is for you.

If you are someone who is mature that is looking to participate in a Dungeons and Dragons game that revolves more about the role-playing than the hack and slash dungeon crawling, the request to join this group.

NEWS
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have finished the Players Handbook of the new version. I am now working on the Dungeon master's Guide. This should get done within the next two weeks. Once I am done with that, I will create Game World Manual for Eberon. This should take me around 3 weeks to do.

When I am finished with all 3, I will schedule a Group 3 to beta test this new version. A few notes about the new system:

1. Easier for new players to learn the system. The system in not clouded with tons of Classes, Feats, Prestige Classes, and equipment.

2. The new version is focused on role-playing instead of a war-gaming.

3. Talents do not offer major bonuses right away. The ones that do improve as you gain levels after selecting the Talent. This means that you can no longer get +5 AC Bonus when you select Combat Expertise as your LV 6 Feat right away, instead you would only get a +1 AC Bonus maximum, and improve that to +5 when you are LV 10.

4. Equipment, which always seem to trouble individuals on selecting, is grouped into kits and Kit Refills with a clear description of their standard usage.

5. Magic is now well balanced. Learning spells, power of spells, how spells are powered, how many spells can be cast, and even how magical items work is much different. Spells cast are learned and improved through the use of Skill Points instead of Level Progression. Magic items are powered by the energy of the one that created them, cost less to empower, can be of any quality (although higher quality allows the magic to last longer), will depower eventually, and do not "auto size" to fit anyone like before.

“Hey! Been bplaying since 3rd edition. My recent group broke up, and me and one other fellow refuge are looking for something similar. Long-term, story-based 3.5 or Pathfinder. I do a lot of 4E one-shots as well.”

“I am more into the story line than the grinding that goes on. Probably one of the reasons I enjoy fudge rules so much. I need some creative time away from the family once in a while this seems to be a shot at that.”
