The film's title kinda says it all. However, for those who like a little more background, this third entry in the Muppet movie cannon features our favorite frog/pig/bear/wierdo/dog/etc team as they head to the Big Apple. When their post-college dream of becoming Broadway stars doesn't pan out as quickly as they'd hoped, the gang have to part ways and find jobs until Kermit can find a way to make it happen. In a year that saw the release of several pop-culturally iconic releases (Ghostbusters, Temple of Doom, and Gremlins to name a few), Muppets Take Manhattan still managed to stand out in the crowd due mostly to its heartfelt story and memorable songs. The typical cavalcade of cameos continues with appearances by Joan Rivers, Brooke Shields, Dabney Coleman, Gregory Hines, Liza Minelli, Elliott Gould, Mayor Ed Koch, and more.
I'll be in the lobby to meet people before the movie, and can hang-out after for a Muppet brunch (Munch?) at someplace nearby.
(The quality on this trailer is poor, but it's the only version I could find that was original and not from a video rerelease).
