Roseville Acoustic Guitar Club @ The Strum Shop

"Roseville Acoustic Guitar Club"

We are starting a new guitar club here at The Strum Shop, on the 2nd Friday night of each month from 7:00 until approx 9:00. We will play songs from the 50's, 60's, 70's, and all the way up to the 2000's and beyond! We will be using a couple of different songbooks, yet to be announced (but coming soon). The pictures above will give you an idea of some of the artists we will be featuring...

We will be using a few different songbooks. The first one is downloadable from Dropbox: email Stu at   [masked] and ask for the "Roseville Acoustic Club Songbook # 1". I'll send you the link to it in Dropbox. In the meantime, here are the chosen songs for Oct 11th meeting:

Really enjoyed playing with a group. It's great practice for me and will help me gain confidence.

It was a lot of fun last night. I'm open to attending and night of the week. Next month I hope to bring my upright bass. It should add a much different sound on the bottom end. Looking forward to the next meeting.

Our first time meeting went well, we learned a few things. Nice to have the new songbook, wish it had guitar chords and not ukulele chords, but we will work on that. Hopefully people will send in song suggestions!

Fun evening of guitar music. Because I'm still learning, I needed the guitar chords listed on the screen rather than the uke chords but other than that - great job. I vote for Thursday night rather than Friday but I'll come to either.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
