Like fine wine, getting better with age.
I have Hawaiian royalty and Hawaiian musicians in my family. A number of my family live on Hawaii. I once lived 1/2 time on Kauai, but moved back to the mainland after a divorce (she got the house, then Eva took it from her....karma). My father loved old style Hawaiian music and ukes and lucky for me, shared that with me. I began my collection with a 100+ year old Uke.
My personal collection has 24 of all makes and models (today's date is 5/14/2012). I am an example of UAS. You can never have enough Ukuleles. I am owner of KALANI UKULELES. We make high quality ukuleles and guitars - Look for us at THE STRUM SHOP!
I am now a regular at the U/U meetups on Saturdays. Except for when I am overseas with my family, I will be there.
I searched the 'net for crazy people who play tiny stringed instruments...and there you were.
Hey, I'm Kurt. I am crazy about 3 things, my wife Trang, my daughter Oanh, and my Ukes of various names.
