We'll be shooting in the new studio, it's larger than the old one, we're doing some construction this week but it will be ready for us on wednesday. It's in the same building just one floor below our current location.

More great news - We have Jay jay Martin doing hair / make up and styling. He is really really good. Excellent time. We shot in the new studio. Lacey brought 6 outfits which were all awesome. She put on a great show for the group and we were lucky to have her for sure. Special thanks to Ming who helped the group direct the model using the entire studio as his backdrop. I think everyone appreciated the extra space and there was more than enough opportunities to get great shots throughout the night. Jay Jay Martin did a top notch job as usual bringing his years of experience in make up artistry and styling to the table, thank you Jay Jay, Lacey and everyone who participated in the event. Without your support, these shoots would not happen! Looking forward to the next one coming soon.

Christine, when I asked, they said they use continuous light (i.e. no flash/strobe needed). You may have to set your ISO higher depending on how strong the lighting is.

I'm proficient with manual settings and ambient light photography but wish to learn more how to shoot portraits with strobes and continuous light. Are all skill levels welcome? If so, I'd like to RSVP. Also, can you clarify if we are using continuous lighting? Thanks!

Of course, anyone can come to the shoot, we use continuous lighting. Should be a good shoot.
