I apologize for the late response to your question. If equipment is not specified for an event ask the organizer what equip. to bring becuz ea. shoot is different. Must organizers assume you know what to bring. However, I caution you not to purchase equip. you will not need if you can't afford it. Photographers are willing to share lense, lighting, reflectors etc. If you're a beginner your camera will suffice. Learn the basics in photo. to learn what will work best for you.
