Hey ... Stumptown Movie Makers Gang!
My humble apologies for the very belated details regarding this meeting! It's been a very busy month!
Your "Organizers Gang" and a few members have a bunch of ideas and project proposals to discuss, along with some follow up on past competition results, etc. If time permits, we may also have a group discussion of a production project related topic, as led by Craig W.
Some potentially interesting group project ideas are being examined now for operational and production details ... some are in the initial concept stages ... and at least one concept/idea is expected to be presented at the next meeting (as the member proposing it is not able to attend this meeting).
We need to hear from you about which of our potential projects interests you enough to gain your active participation. Your participation may be anything from just watching us "work" ... to becoming a director, camera person, sound engineer, assistant "go-fer", or whatever. Basically, most any role and level of participation you might feel inclined to pursue .. total beginner to experienced production team member. We all learn by doing ... something.
So ... Please come, listen, and perhaps discuss with us as you feel comfortable! And also feel welcome to present your own ideas and proposals if you wish. With "the always too limited (short) meeting time frame" we ask that you try to have your ideas somewhat well organized so that your presentation can be discussed intelligently in the very limited time available, if possible.
This should be a fun meeting (most meetings are), and we hope that many of you "newer members" will join with us. You will find us a relaxed "very low pressure" group.
This Saturday, September the 29th is the date. And we'd like you to join with us, at 2:30 PM, in the Portland Community Media Facility, in Portland, if possible.
