Hello!

We are a unique group of individuals with one general common interest . . . learning how, and actually making our own movies and video productions. 

To that end, our Members often help one-another with various "Film" Production tasks.  We each learn and grow our personal experience, abilities and understanding through practical "on the job" exposure to "real film production".  This is just one way of many we encourage and support our members efforts to learn the Art of Producing Digital Video and of telling stories using video!

Our members various interests may include, (among others) the following:

•  Screen writing  (Creating the concept, sequence, overview and dialog to tell a story or convey a message)
•  Filming Production (Camera work, Lighting, Sound, Set Design, Directing and Producing, etc.) 
•  Editing (assembly of the captured image & sound elements including adding effects and titles, etc.)

•  Acting, Makeup, Costuming, etc.

Making a film can be a fairly basic project, an extremely complex and involved series of challenges and obstacles, or it can be anything in-between.

Our Members enter various film making contests, and we also conduct our own film making challenges.  Individual members often find or create their own film making projects and then use the knowledge, labor and tools of fellow Stumptown Group Members to achieve a finished project goal.

Current Stumptown Membership includes beginners, amateurs and professionals. 

Whatever your level of expertise, experience and knowledge, if you enjoy being creative and an aspect of producing videos and movies, you should really check us out!  Seriously!
