Hello again
sorry about all of these emails- but there's just so much to do!!biggrin

I'm still not sure if i'm going (i have to check on some things), but that's no reason why you all can't stand up for the puppys being sold at Northbrook Court!! Here is the email that was sent to me (via Laura Dorfman of Kona's Touch- gentle dog training) to give you the details. HOpe you see you all there!!!

Hi everyone,

I have been in contact with the assistant city manager of Northbrook and it is legal for us to protest on the sidewalk along Lake Cook Rd, which gives us great visibility. The only thing is that we have to keep moving so as not to cause a disturbance, but other than that there is not a problem. I am looking at the date of November 14, which is a Saturday. Weekends are typically their busy time and we can stand at all the entrances and exits to the mall. Saturday hours are 10:00am to 9:00pm. I think we need to meet at 10:00 and be ready to start our protest by 10:30 and end around 3:00. I have been in contact with Best Friends and they have given me a lot of great information as well as web sites to visit, one of which is supposed to be the supplier for Pawsh Puppies. We will NOT be parking in the parking lot as it is owned by Northbrook Court, but Lee St., which runs right along the mall has plenty of parking. We need everyone to participate in this protest. I will notify the Northbrook paper as well as the media and invite them to come, so we must have a huge turnout. Depending on how it goes, we should also think about a second protest right before Christmas so people will not be impulse shopping for puppies. Please make signs and I will be ordering some from Best Friends and vista print (thanks Kat). You can order your own signs from a great site Best friends told me about. Please FORWARD TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS, ENEMIES, RELATIVES, COWORKERS AND DID I MENTION FRIENDS!!!!!!! Let me know asap if this date works for you, as I have to let Northbrook know so they can be prepared. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO LOVES ANIMALS. Adrianne
