Hope you are having a great week!!
Thanks to all of you that came out and supported Heartland for the Peter Mayer event- we got rave reviews- woohoo!!! Thanks to you all, we raised well over $3000 for the critters- with all the cost it takes to put on that show, that is an AMAZING outcome. THANK YOU!! The first vegan bake sale for haiti was a huge success- sweet(literally- sweet!!!). Thought we could help out with sale number two this sunday- what do you say? If you can get baked goods to me by Satuday, i will drive them down to the city Sunday morning. All items need to be vegan (no eggs, dairy or honey) and home baked. Please email me if you can contribute and we can coordinate drop-off/pick up. Thanks!!!!
This Sunday is our monthly potluck
so bring your favorite football food, place setting and appetites on over at 4pm!!!
Same routine: throw your coat on the bed, put your food on the kitchen table/counter and come in and get cozy!! I think I'm going to ask people to bring their own beverage this time (water bottle, pop, tea, whatever)- let's see how this goes... i have cups left over from the concert so you don't need to bring that. As always, critters abound...you have been warned..
Please sign up now to go and visit Nature's Cupboard
in Glenview on Feb 20th. We are not going out to eat afterwards, but i think i'm going to arrange some food for us there- i'll get back to you on that...thanks!
Last thing, please check the calendar and message board- if you'd like to table for Mercy for Animals at Harper college next Tuesday with member Chris, let her know!!Thanks!!
See you soon!!
