Seize Your Turn

Our social group is dedicated to spreading the joy of learning, playing, and collecting table top strategy games in the west Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area.

We host free monthly events in local pubs providing a library of games for strategy board gamers to enjoy. The fun of learning, sharing, and playing takes precedence over the declaration of victory or long debates over rule ambiguities. The environment is friendly enough to embrace new gamers, but still challenging for the 5 year veteran. Our selection of games is provided by our attendee's personal collections and everyone is very respectful of each other's cardboard. It is typical for every game played to have at least one new player learning. It's all about expanding the community!

Our motto for these events is Drink, Play, Score!

There is no attendence fee for our events, but we do encourage you to purchase food and drink from the pub as this allows our events to remain free.

If you want to see the types of games we play, photos from many events are posted on our Facebook page. If you use BoardGameGeek, then you'll find our most in depth conversation threads on our BGG guild.

Hey folks. It was nice playing with on Saturday.
**I think I left my jacket behind. Any chance one of you saved it for me?

Thanks, Nick. It sounds like my wife found my jacket in the trunk of her car (big relief since my wallet was in it). Hopefully, whoever did leave their jacket got it back (and didn't lose their wallet).

Cool! That is random that there were two jackets in question this month.
