Sufi Music, Poetry, and Friends - sharing the spirit of love and oneness

Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing
and rightdoing there is a field.
I'll meet you there.

An evening of Sufi music, poetry, and sharing joy; with Sufi music, readings from Sufi classics and a few surprises, and a drumming meditation.

We are also throwing it open to your own spiritual writings or music. So if you have an original poem, or play a flute or guitar or other instrument, or if you just have a favourite Sufi reading then we'd love for you to share. Just let us know beforehand!

Make this an evening of lost friends finding each other...

Lovers don't finally meet somewhere.
They're in each other all along.

Forgive me Azi, but wasn't your 'child' a bit older than 8 years old! Or have I got you mixed up with someone else that was there with their friend? : )

Too bad I missed it :) I was singing my heart out with the Estonian choir - we had our christmas party last night and I simply could not leave early.... hope to see you all soon!

It's made by the people. Paul did wonderfully positive cosmic rapping which seemed to just pour into the space and it didn't feel egotistically inspired. And there were a number of people contributing poems including Manatita, an acolyte and biographer of his guru Sri Chinmoy, and who spoke about his work and read from his own devotional poems. What a shame I didn't take any photos from the event!

Salaam, I will be in London that day with friends to celebrate my birthday and we would love to join you for this. I would also like to share a poem I have written. Many thanks
