Come join us to prepare (on Sunday) then to deliver and share (on Monday) a dinnertime meal for the women and children who are residents at the Sacred Heart House shelter in Denver. Sacred Heart House is a non-profit organization providing a range of services to homeless mothers with children and single women to help them achieve and maintain self-sufficiency. Sacred Heart House provides a range of stabilization programs including temporary housing, food, clothing and transportation to meet resident's immediate needs, then it helps women with longer term resources and coping strategies.
In keeping with the Nimatullahi Sufi Order's commitment to service, the Denver Sufi Center is working with Sacred Heart House to help as we can with their mission.
Sunday afternoon, June 10, 2:30pm-4:30pm - Join us to help prepare the meal at the Denver Sufi Center in Capital Hill.
Monday June 11, 5:00pm - 7:00pm - Join us to help serve the meal and have dinner with the residents at Sacred Heart House - 2844 Lawrence Street, Denver.
If you can help slice and dice on Sunday, but can't go to the Sacred Heart House on Monday, that's ok. There will be another opportunity.
