Just saw this...would have loved to make it, but too late now. I lived in Gadsden Homes when I was in kindergarten at MacDill AFB.

I walked the park today (Tuesday). The entrance is off MacDill Ave, just before entering the Air Force Base, on your right. The sign that is easily visible is INTERBAY LITTLE LEAGUE. Turn in here. I will be in the very 1st parking area immediatly to the left once entering the park. This path is completely paved & consists of a large loop with a cut thru half way around. The eastern half is mostly ball fields. The western half goes around a pleasant lake. At the very western side, is a spur trail that goes over to Dale Mabry Highway by the Air Force Base entrance there. This afternoon there were several folks walking dogs & playing in a dog park. A few joggers. A group of boys were geocaching. City employees mowing like crazy. One lap around, including the spur to Dale Mabry & back, took me about 40 minutes at a moderate speed. It was hot at 3 PM!

Looking forward to seeing everyone Monday morning!

These city/county park hikes are usually loops. People can hike as long or short as they like. This is "self-directed", meaning we can walk as long or short as we like. We can go as fast or slow as we want. Everyone who shows up can do it however they feel is good for them. To that, we will miss you Monday & look forward to seeing you at future events!
