Fun in the sun, a little walking and sitting interspersed with eating and talking. Thanks to Ralph for leading a delightful hike that was not a forced-march, that said it was a little too fast and way too long. Marty!

This would be my first camp with the group. Would you recommend it to me? I haven't camped in years but I love it.

Hi Jennifer, Oak Ridge is a magical kind of place. Large pine trees, pine needles covering the ground, quiet. The view of the sky at night is unbelievably clear. You must bring your own water but the porta-potty is large & clean. It's about 1 mile in from the parking lot off Morris Bridge Rd. If you need any equipment let me know & I'll try to help out. It's a friendly, fun group & you'll love the time around the campfire. Email me if you need the gate code. Look forward to seeing you. Regards, Arlene
