Monthly Field Trip - Upper Tampa Bay Park

Meet outside Nature Center building

Entry fee: $2 per vehicle up to eight people and $1 per each additional person.

At 596 acres on the shores of Old Tampa Bay, UTBP habitats include coastal flat woods, fresh water ponds, maritime hammocks, salt barren, coastal marsh and mangrove lined channels. Nature trails and newly rebuilt 700 ft. boardwalk make habitats easily accessible.

Facilities include restrooms and shelters where, if you bring a lunch, we can adjourn afterward and eat.

Remember to bring mosquito repellant!

Great area to see plants and birds. 3 relatively short trails with a wide assortment of plants. Good nature center also and lots of picnic areas.

I have never been to this park. I was wondering whether I would have a difficult time finding the Nature Center Building.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
