This meetup group is for the Suncoast Chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society. Our mission is to promote the preservation, conservation, and restoration of Florida's native plants and native plant communities. We have field trips to see Florida's wild areas both near and far, presentations by various speakers on a wide range of environmental subjects, plant sales, and volunteer oportunities.

If you are interested in learning more about native plants, gardening and landscaping with natives, Florida's ecology, and basically, what the heck all those leafy green things growing out there in the woods are - join us!
