This is the first of our "off the beaten path" meetups. We have the meeting room at Panera for 3 hours. Please come hungry for Panera food as we collect receipts to help pay for the meeting space. The schedule is outlined below. It may change slightly depending on how long it takes us to get through the Core Data project.
What to bring: It's recommended to bring a Mac since this is a hands-on meetup. Make sure you have the iPhone SDK 3.0+ installed for Core Data and your iPhone developer tools. If you don't have a Mac you are still welcome to attend.
Setup: We will have a projector and screen so you can follow along. There will also be extra power for you to plug into.
Basic Core Data Application: We will work on a basic UITableView Core Data app using the Navigation-based Application template in Xcode. We've already been over some of this at a past meetup but I thought it would be good to dive a little further down the rabbit hole. We will drill down to new UITableViews and add/edit/delete new data via Core Data.
General Hackery: This time will be devoted to working on your own app. You can ask for help from others, get design/coding suggestions or anything else that pertains to your app. The meeting room is being sponsored by GCA Technology Services
http://www.gca.net/.... They will be purchasing a gift card that will pay for the room. Meetup attendees will be able to use this gift card for food until it's funds run out.
