iBeacons

What are iBeacons?  Why should I care?  Is this unapologetically Apple propaganda?  Can I use this in my super cool hybrid app?  This presentation will hopefully include a working demo (install app before arriving), quick notes, code review and questions.  This talk will be given by Adam Lowther.

I unfortunately can't make it - just gave up my spot. I'm hoping to make it sometime soon. Will any notes/slides be available to those of us who couldn't make it?

I've just opened up my spot for tonight. I have a band booster commitment that I can't escape.

Feels like I might be coming down with something. Rather than share it with everyone, I'll let someone else have my seat.

I just removed myself from the waiting list. I do need an iOS developer to reach out to me for two apps I'm wanting to put out, so if you're interested in doing the dev work reach out to me. I just could not sit and wait around on this waiting list till last minute to find out if I could go to the event. Thanks!

Jasen, I assume you have an interest in beacons. Our company Kocomojo supplies a turn key solution for integrating beacons into apps including beacon hardware, sdk for iOS and android, admin portals for creating location based experiences, and reporting. Depending on your Dev needs, we can recommend mobile Dev partners, too. Lmk. Info at kocomojo.com

Would it be possible for non-developers to remove themselves from the meetup so that developers who want to learn about them could move off of the wait list?

Please ignore this comment. Thank you.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
