Storyboarding for Glory

So many projects suffer from a serious deficiency in consideration of the user experience (UX). In this talk, we'll highlight the urgency of UX as a primary focus of mobile app product development and demonstrate the use of Xcode storyboards as an integral part of that process. We'll cover the pitfalls of disparate xibs and offer solutions for transitioning your apps to use storyboards, as well as a comprehensive how-to on configuring segues and communicating data between view controllers in the workflow.

Special guests Justin Davis, UX wizard and founder of Madera Labs, and Andi Graham, interface design master and principal at Big Sea Design, will help guide the discussion and provide their unique (and often hilarious) perspectives. Together with Aubrey Goodman, information architect and VP Engineering at Rakiteer, they form like voltron to make usable, efficient, and beautiful mobile and web apps for fun and profit.

Thanks again to Veredus for generously offering their large conference room to host the meetup and providing food and drink.

NOTE: The event is on the 7th floor NOT the 9th floor, as listed in the address.

Excellent, very informative. Very well presented. The time allowed for after presentation discussion helped bring out more knowledge.
