Come early and join Science Circle

Sunday Assembly Atlanta will be holding its first Science circle on Sunday August 17th at 5:00 PM, one hour prior to the scheduled 6:00 PM meeting. Science Circle will explore interesting developments in science over the past month, moderated by Bob Glassley. As the program develops, we anticipate additional input from Sunday Assembly attendees active in the science community to share their perspectives on the chosen topics. We look forward to engaging discussions, and your input on making future sessions even better. Here are a few of the topics we will discuss on the 17th, with links to additional information so you can come in with your thoughts and questions at the ready. We hope to see you there!

Love the idea of "Science Circles". We did a few Science Circles through the Atlanta Science Tavern a few years ago in a similar way (http://astwiki.wikidot.com/science-circles). Looking forward to it.

Hey Josh - Thanks for the link, I was unaware that the name "Science Circle" referred to an established format. I had suggested something called "The Deep Dive" which was very much in line with what Atlanta Science Tavern offered. I look forward to your feedback in making the most of the Sunday Assembly Science Circle!

Cool, Bob, looking forward to it as well. I wouldn't really say it's an established format. It's just a name we used for a handful of events. I think the main idea was to avoid too much of a format :)

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
