We had fun meeting each other. Nice conversation. Also the brunch was delicious. However, it was a busy day at the restaurant, and it was not easy to ask for a table for 13 (as 13 had rsvp'd yes) in that small restaurant. Then, only 5 showed up. I'd suggest that next time, a bigger restaurant - with more seats - is chosen, so it is easier to hold tables for a large group. Also - I'd remind the group to tell us if you cannot come - even if you know that at the last minute. Please update the website to take your name from the 'yes' group, so that those of us attending the event will be trying to set aside seats for you.

I am back and I have made the time to get the Sunday Brunch Club back on track. It would be great to pick up where we left off. Please let me know your ideas and we can make the Brunch Club the funnest meet-up in Maine. I was thinking that we didn't always need to have brunch in a restaurant. I know it is getting cold, but brunch in the park, or slope side could be interesting. Another member suggested combining some brunches with a book club or brunch and then shop.

    Best,

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
