Re: [Sunday-Brunch-Club] August Brunch

Hi all,

I think Becky's is a good idea, and they can certainly seat everyone
(possibly even outside), and their menu is pretty extensive. Front
Room is excellent but I've been to brunch with a meetup there before
and it gets very loud, so it pretty much eliminates any possibility of
conversation. I believe Mim's is now the Farmer's Table, which is
very good. And I agree that Hot Suppa is great but quite small...and
the ferry to Peaks is probably not that practical but it would be a
great time, I'm sure!

I just discovered that the new Cuban restaurant on Wharf St (right
next to Cinque Terre) is doing weekend brunches as well. Their menu
looks great (sorry, I can't for the life of me remember the name of
the place - they've only been open for a few weeks). I've also been
dying to try Bresca on Middle St but I don't know if they have a
special brunch menu (their dinners are pretty pricey).

Incidentally, it's way too small for a meetup, but the best diner I've
been to in the Portland area was Charlie's on 302, near the Windham
line. In case anyone's looking for a new diner after exhausting the
three(?) in Portland :)
