I had a great time and was pleasantly surprised by the movie (it was not a chick flick). I also am glad that I went out to dinner as I enjoyed the restaurant and also the fact it was a good opportunity to talk to the people in the group.I am looking forward to the next movie especially the conversation afterwards, or before, to find out where Libby winds up going for vacation.

Maybe the elephant seals at Ano Nuevo would let me sleep on their beach for a few days... ; )

Saw it last weekend. Loved it. A feel-good movie (as "Chef" was). Music, love, friendship, New York City ... what's not to like?

I can't figure out how to change my RSVP to "No" but I cannot attend this week :-(. I thought that I could do the movie plus co-manage my neighborhood's Bastille Day party. However, everything is going to merde so I have to drop the movie. I was looking forward to meeting everyone. I loved "Once" so much that we went to see the leads of the film in concert years back. I know it will be fabulous!

No worries, Robin. Thanks for the note. Bastille Day party sounds like a lot of fun.

Have John Carney's "Once" DVD. Part of the charm of that movie was the low budget and unknown actors. Will be interesting to see what he does with a big budget, famous actors and Hollywood production. Am planning restaurant, too.

The meet up time was adjusted to reflect the movie schedule. Since I usually list 2pm until closer to Sunday, it's a good idea to check the listings if you need a more exact schedule.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
