What you shoot, the lighting at that moment, how you frame it and when you click the shutter, all combined creates either an image we are proud of, or one we discard. Wouldn't you like to discard less and create more inspiring images?
There are tricks and tips that everyone can learn. It's just a matter of practice and getting the right information that directly applies to you. The awareness of our habits can make a big difference in our improvement. I have a huge passion for helping people improve their photo skills.
This venue is a great place to put yourself out there and get feedback on your work.
For those interested, I teach private sessions, small group photography workshops in NYC and sessions via phone, skype or ichat.
The group workshop is held on Sunday afternoons and aimed at all levels of photographers. We talk, we walk, we shoot, we critique, we learn AND we have fun!
The goal for all sessions is to improve your compositional skills.
Even though the NYC workshops meet at different locations, it is not a tour but a real workshop that is fee based where your images are the main focus, and your goal is to improve how you see and what you shoot. You will leave with a better understanding in how to bring your compositional skills to a higher level.
So if you are interested in receiving feedback with each click of the shutter, improving your craft going from snaps to fine art, meeting other fellow photographers with lots of learning and laughing thrown in, then come on and join in.
