Courses
This class will concentrate on still life drawing. It provides an introduction to the use of drawing media and materials, the selection and development of subject matter, and to the use of line, tone, proportion, scale and composition. The course is designed to develop confidence in the handling of media and materials, and in the development of creative ideas. On completion of the course, students will have acquired a broad skills base and a thorough understanding of a range of techniques and of the use of drawing media. Students will also have learned how to instigate and develop creative ideas. This course is suitable for both complete beginners and experienced artists.
Guided by Yinjie, the classes aim to provide students with an easy to follow structure to understand Drawing principles. Yinjie will work individually with each student using different methods to help everyone find their own value and opinion on art, which enables students to come up with a great full finished still life drawing that exceeds expectations. We limit our classes to 10 people so each person will benefit from a lot of individual attention.
The lessons will mainly be held inside but will occasionally be outside, pending weather conditions. Classes may also take place in Art Galleries. We will hold annual exhibitions of our students’ work. In order to provide better quality, only up to 10 students per class.
Tuition& Fees
Group tuition: £30 3 hours/ lesson
Up front of 2 lessons is required
Individual tuition: £20/hr 3 hours/ lesson
Individual tuition is flexible and can be arranged at any mutually-convenient time and date.
This can take place either at the Sunny Art Studio, or at your home (this will incur a £5 travel fee).
