Picture shown is China Wall, we will see during the hike

I MPORTANT things you should know, ***there will be muddy trails, sticky mud, some slippery sections due to the mud, *** there could be cow and horse poop on the trails*** we have to cross the creek a few times, but usually it is easy by stepping on some rocks,

I recommend bringing a extra pair of shoes (and some bags to put the dirty ones in) for the drive home, this mud is usually pretty sticky

The route will go up some ridge lines, go through pine canyon, go along a couple creeks for a while and we see the china wall (rock formation)

Route:

Briones-Mt Diablo trail, ginder gap loop trail, ridge top trail, briones-mt diablo trail, shell loop trail down into Pine Canyon, stage road trail, little yosemite trail, mt diablo briones trail, twin ponds trail(or borges ranch road), twin ponds loop trail (going right), fire road to briones mt diablo trail, indian cree trail, fossil hill trail back to briones mt diablo trail and the parking lot.

Did I mention muddy trails :), little mudfest in some areas, it was nice to get out for a hike on a partly sunny day,10.1 miles 1800 feet gain, 3 geocaches, thanks for braving the muddy trails with me today. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did, beautiful green hills.

Great hike with nice views, waterfalls, china wall, green hills, interesting rock formations, creek crossings and fun people. And yes, plenty of cows, horses and mud :) Thanks Chris for leading the hike.
