You should have hiked 12 plus miles with 3000 feet elev. gain lately in order to attend this hike, moving speed is usually around 3+mph on my hikes

Important things you need to know!
This hike will have a lot of stairs going up and down some steep up/down trail sections
Possible slippery areas due to rocks / roots / (wet/dry) some Poison Oak next to the trail, (should be not a big problem on this hike as long as you know what it looks like, there is at least one slight overgrown section on dipsea trail where you have to watch out) The 10 foot ladder we have to go up on the steep ravine trail. link to pic: http://www.meetup.com...
plus all the usual stuff you may encounter on hikes.

Tourist club: I am considering a stop for a beer at the tourist club, depending on how big the group is and if there would a volunteer who can lead the group who is not stopping at the club back to the trailhead (which is about 2-3 miles from there.
The tourist club has a strict limit as far as groups go and therefore we have to see.

Waiver, Please review it, no need to print I will have a copy with me for sign in at the trailhead

Directions:

Here is the link to the trailhead
http://maps.google.co...

One option to get there, from Hwy 101, take Hwy 1 north / slight right on Almonte Blvd, Almonte Blvd will turn into Miller Ave, follow Miller Ave all the way to the end, you will hit a "T" intersection where you turn left onto Throckmorton Ave., follow Throckmornton for a few blocks until you see the park on your left or Olive St and Old Mill St. on your right.

You can also use the link above entering your starting address.

Meeting point
There is no designated parking spot at Old Mill Park, there is street parking on Throckmorton and the side streets nearby, make sure to watch out for no parking signs.

This is a small park you should have no trouble finding me/us depending on where I find parking I will be either close to my red saturn vue or near the playground in the park.
