** you have to answer a couple questions when you sign up, If I do not see any answers I will not add you to the yes list
(I do want to make sure everybody knows about the short rock scramble and taking shoes off, I know it sounds overboard but been there done that, I have used the same hike write up before and one person still commented about not being on the hike if she would have known about the scramble).
Meeting point, at the rest room in the dirt parking lot, on the left, go past the visitor center.
Do not !!!! take Hwy 1 to get to Olema, take hwy 101 and Sir Francis Drake Blvd
If you must take Hwy, you need to plan plenty of extra time.
Rock Scramble we have to do a short rock scramble at arch rock, here are some links to pic's http://www.meetup.com/SuperFab/photos/88989... (you can see a hiker standing on top, short scramble down on the other side, you can click on all sizes then original to see a bigger pic. http://www.meetup.com/SuperFab/photos/88989... Location: Point Reyes (Bear Valley) Although Point Reyes National Seashore has plenty of shorter trails, none can beat this long circuit through widely varied scenery. Following the route counter-clockwise - out to the coast through Woodward Valley, back along Bear Valley, the two linked together by the Meadow and Coast Trails - will see almost all the climbing finished in the first hour
Lunch** at Sculptured Beach that will give us some time to explore the beach a little longer.
Another Break at ** Arch Rock and we can take some time to explore the beach and the arch there, however it takes a little rock scramble at Arch Rock to get back up from the beach
Trail Conditions [/b]: Some short steep up/down sections, possible some muddy spots, Clear and easy to follow, with signed junctions. Bear Valley Trail, the final section of the loop, is a wide, smooth and level track open to cyclists as well as hikers.
Poison Oak : A few sections where you have to watch out for it, mainly on the short trail up / down to Sculptured Beach
**** Waiver please read and sign the waiver I will bring to the hike, I will have your name written on it**** http://files.meetup.com/220424/Super_Fabulicious_waiver.pdf

If you'd like to ride as a passenger, it is YOUR JOB to check the website RSVP list and contact any of the nice people offering a ride to see if they still have a space for you. If you're a passenger and your plans change, please be sure to let the driver know.

Google map, the satellite view will show the parking lot and visitor center. http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&hl=en&a... Recommended way to get there is SIR FRANCIS DRAKE BLVD and not Hwy 1!! Drive all the way to the end of Sir Francis Drake Blvd, you will hit a T intersection with a stop sign in Olema, turn right onto Hwy 1 there, take your next left after around 300 feet, take the next left after about 0.25 miles (the park entrance) .
