NOTE the details about the camping will be posted soon as an extra meetup

Red Wall Canyon is located next to Fall Canyon which we hiked last year ( ), the terrain and scenery should be similar.

The streamway passes dryfalls, narrow channels, twisted igneous rock formations and variously textured walls with red the dominant colour. (quote from this website http://www.americanso... which has more info on the canyon.

Things you need to know!

**I have never hiked this canyon.
** No Trail** think "river wash" hiking, gravel, and more gravel,
** 2.5 miles and 1000 feet elev. gain before we even reach the canyon on gravel
*** Chokestone in Canyon, worst case we will be going in for a short distance and have to turn around.
*** Chokestone** the way around going up a rope approx 15 feet, hopefully in place.

We will see if we can get up and around this chokestone or not, sounds like others have gone past it.

Anybody who is into rock climbing and going on this hike, let me know

Waiver (I will bring the sign in sheet with the waiver to the hike)
