UWS Classic: La Nueva Victoria Restaurant

I have been in the neighborhood for nearly 20 years, and have yet to ever try the king of the Chino Latino culinary tradition La Nueva Victoria. This is an ethnic fusion cuisine based on the creative blend of the Chinese cooking style with Latin ingredients which is sadly, slowly is fading away due to neighborhood gentrification. Let's hit this place and show our support!

La Nueva Victoria was a pleasant surprise. Despite its sort of out dated appearance, inside was a green color theme of modern, clean and efficient setting. We, 2 members, shared a grilled lobster, roasted chicken that came with black beans, yellow rice and salad, and we ordered 2 bottles of beer, as well. The food was delicious and plenty. The total tab came $44 before tax and tip. A great value - a Sunday treat! I surely had a great time chatting with the savvy and thoughtful fellow UWS members. Jenine, thank you so much for the event.
