We would like to start a meetup group for young adults (18-40yrs old) who have Cerebral Palsy and live in the greater Westchester or New York City areas.
The purpose of the group would be to establish an open, dialogue-based discussion within a supportive and safe environment about our experiences of living with CP. Ideally we would meet once a week or every 2 weeks, but this of course depends on members, their individual schedules and availabilities.
If you have Cerebral Palsy and would like to meet up with others who share similar challenges, issues and experiences, we would love to hear from you. We are hoiping to get this meetup group started by the Fall. People who use augmentative communication devises are encouraged to respond.
