Box Hill Hike II

Had a few requests to repeat this hike, and I need to train, so why not :)

Starting from Dorking Main station, we go through Denbies vineyard to reach the North Downs Way. A steep ascent of Box Hill to the viewpoint and car park. We go past Broadwood's Tower, up another steep hill and down the other side to the village of Mickleham where we stop for lunch. Yet another steep hill to Headley Heath, through the woods and to the pub in Box Hill Village for a drink. A couple more smaller hills, we complete the circuit of Box Hill, and return to Dorking station. Pub stop for drinks only. Please bring a packed lunch.

Please note this walk has steep hills and many steps, which may be slippery at this time of year. It is a strenuous walk. Good footwear is essential.

Length: 12 miles, circular

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
