A Titanic walk (joint with SAWW/SABRE)

Join walk leader Nigel at the start of the walk from the Crown Court car park and pause at the Cloister, a memorial to Jack Philips, the Titanic hero. We then follow the gently meandering River Wey via pleasant farmland, arriving at the popular Cyder House Inn at Shackleford to break for a drink. Continuing the walk we encounter the ancient hamlet of Peper Harrow. Further on we re- join the River Wey at Eashing Bridges. Along the way we catch sight of the lofty spires of Charterhouse School and make our return back to Godalming. We will end with tea and cakes at a local tea shop.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
