HATCHLANDS PARK PICNIC, 4.5 miles, easy, bring your own picnic or cafe lunch

Join me, Derek ,on this leisurely walk through 400 acres of varied parkland around Hatchlands Park House, including woods full of bluebells and woodland anemones at this time of year. We will take a picnic lunch at the lake side, weather permitting. You can keep your picnic in your car until we eat, the car park is not far from the lake. Otherwise we will have a snack lunch at the Tea Room. Entrance to the parkland only is £4.40 or show NT card. Parking is free to all.

There will be other SAWW and SABRE members on this walk. If you haven't yet become a  member of either of our walking groups SABRE or SAWW it's a  good time to join us; because of the membership deal on offer by our parent group the Ramblers. Ask your walk leader about us or go www.sabre-walkers.org.uk or www.saww.org.uk. Also when you join you do not have to RSVP - its your choice!

Is it unusual to ask if people are picnicing or eating there? I'm undecided...

Come on Lee, pop down to Tesco Express or Sainsburys and get a sandwich meal deal!

Derek you have gone and done it now....with your continuous mention of Sainsburys (yes twice is continuous haha) I'm now going to have to go to Sainsburys as am remembering the calorific egg and bacon I used to have from there many moons ago. With a drink and packet of crisps of course. See you all later :)

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
