This is a walk lead by Eric, who is SABRE's chairman. From the Holmbury St Mary village hall we pick up the Greensand Way and follow the gradual ascent to Leith Hill where we can take in the wonderful views ( he has ordered a sunny day) and have a tea or coffee time permitting. We then continue north on the Greensand Way before turning west though woods and fields to return to Holmbury for lunch before the (optional) SABRE Annual General Meeting at 2.30pm. There are two pubs in the village, we will aim for the Royal Oak as this is nearest to the village hall.

There may be some mud, there is one steep ascent. Members may bring their dogs.

If you are a member of Surrey and Beyond Ramblers (SABRE) or considering joining as a Rambler member, you may wish to stay on after the walk and come to the SABRE AGM. if you have any queries please let me (Derek) know - I am the SABRE Treasurer and Meetup Co-ordinator
