This is for people who want to know what else is on offer in Bracknell Forest.
There is a 5 mile ride to the forest then we will be going to in search of the local trials so first port of call will be Crowthorne woods where the legendary 'Corkscrew' is.
A play around there and then off to the Look Out to do the Green Trail (little warm up), then start the Blue and onto the Red Trails. Once on the Red we will get to 20 and then get back to the local trails which are the downhill tracks. So 'Babymaker', 'Deerstalker' and 'Labyrinth' which will lead us nicely back to the end of 20. If you fancy the jumps that is on your own head, for everyone else (or me) it is still possible to go down the tracks without doing the gap jumps. To do each track a lovely climb is needed three times so I hope you have lots of energy !!
Then it will be finishing off the Red and onto the Blue to get back to the Look Out, have a break and a ride back to Deepcut.
This is not for the faint hearted so I expect whoever goes to have good stamina and a fully working bike, suspension optional but probably preferred.
There will be little road riding and the route I have chosen incorporates a diverse riding surfaces.
The ride will start from the church at Deepcut and is approximately 30 miles long so a 9am meet and 9:30am start.
Essentials are water/ drinks, snacks, lunch, bike tools, puncture repair kits and spare inner tubes and necessary tools if you have them just in case.
