JAVIER JARQUIN CARD NINJA:
Winner - The Press Critics Choice Award 'Best National Artist' World Buskers Festival 2012
Star of the New Zealand comedy scene, Javier has headlined some of the biggest clubs in NZ and Melbourne, on television and was a core member of New Zealand`s longest running comedy show: Scared Scriptless. He`s been to the NZ International Comedy Festival 3 times and in 2010 won Best Show Wellington and opened for Pauly Shore on his NZ tour.
Since moving to the UK in August 2010 he has established himself as a circuit regular and headline act. He has performed on the same bill with top names such as Jimmy Carr, Stewart Lee, Jo Brand and Paul Daniels. And his card ninja act has to be seen to be believed.
"He's gonna be a star" - William Burdett-Coutts (Producer of Black Books / Artistic Director of Assembly Theatre)
"Jarquin is seriously talented when it comes to working a crowd" - The Stage
"Brilliantly entertaining performance" - The Edinburgh Reporter
"Fresh, funny and unique" - The Press (NZ)
A primary school teacher, a bingo caller, and a professional comedian. Paul has been gigging now for over 6 years, and now has a style and presence that is unique. His use of props is fast becoming legendary. He is both inventive and enthusiastic, traits that bring surprises and laughs galore. Confident as a compere or set comedian, the audience always enters into his world, whereupon he will offer advice, and his view of life to great effect.
Here are two important facts about Rob Coleman:
1) He writes beautifully crafted gags that range from the dark to the ridiculous.
2) He possesses one of the finest heads of hair on the circuit.
Combined, they make Rob an extremely striking comic.
On the circuit for around four years, Rob delivers a huge variety of one liners, together with the occasional longer story and some audience interaction. Rob has good compering experience and is comfortable bantering with an audience.
"Presence a plenty and material to match" One 4 review
"A cross between Stephen Wright and Emo Phillips without being derivative of either. Very funny man." Paul James, Clown's Pocket
Noel Brodie is one of the UK's brightest young comedians with an act suitable for any audience from Holiday Centres, Comedy Clubs and Cruise Ships to Corporate Events, Theatre and Television. He seems to effortlessly bridge that old age gap between 'mainstream' and 'alternative' with a blend of observational and off the cuff improvisational material, plus some intelligent parodies.
Tickets £8 for you, here, or £10 for any old person who turns up on the door.
