I dont see any groups of this nature in my area, so I am going to try to start one.

I am a survivor of childhood sexual assault. I have not been in therapy or a group since I was 9, and I just turned 31. I am trying to heal, and deal with this as best I can, but as I'm sure you know, its not easy to handle the memories alone...and its hard for non-abused people to truely understand the effects it can have on your entire life. I want to heal. I want to help others heal. I dont want to do this alone anymore. Will you join me?

I do not have a scheduled date to meet up just yet, but maybe once I see others are interested, I'm definitely game to try to set one up. I'm new to all this, so please forgive me for my lack of knowledge.
