    An interesting and educational day.
Knew some of the theory beforehand, but actually putting it into practice is much harder work.
I learned a lot and enjoyed the day.

Finally got confirmation from work that I'm not needed on Saturday so will be free to attend.
So far I'm aware of six different methods of lighting fires without matches, but sadly never actually put any of these techniques into practice, so it will be nice to actually try some of them out.

The cold weather will be a good incentive for you all to get the fire alight! Have fun. I'll look out for events in 2014.

oh what a shame you meet on Saturdays - I usually do an ex pro ballet class at midday on saturdays for 1.5hr. I'll see nearer the time if feel can miss my weekly fix . .

Hi Jan, we will see if we can mix up the days so that you can make them.......we do have a 'walk and learn' set up for New Years day if you fancy that.

I should be able to offer a lift. Horsham station would be best for collecting and dropping off.

The Long Wood meetups are too awkward to get to so sadly I think it's better to leave membership. It's a great idea though!

We will have some down in the Brighton area, e.g. the New Years Day walk, but i understand that Copsale is not the easiest place to get to.
