Using a knife safely is one of the core skills in Bushcraft. In this session we will look at knife design and use, knife law, basic safety, knife strokes and some knife maintenance. You will use your new skills and knowledge to make something that you can take home with you, and you get to keep the knife at the end so that you can continue to practice your new found skills (over 18's only).
All of our team are all qualified Bushcraft instructors, first aid trained and have our own unique skills.
Please bring your own lunch and snacks. We will provide tea and coffee.
Due to the nature of the day and the activities, the session is open to anyone over 14, but those under 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult (ratio of 2 children to 1 adult) who will be responsible for supervising the children throughout the day.
We will provide knives for your use, so please do NOT bring your own.
