Home Energy Efficiency Workshop at P.E.A.C.E. Garden

This event is part of SJC's Celebration of Earth Day presented in collaboration with St. Paul's Center for Caring & the Big Sky Project's PEACE Garden.

This sixty minute workshop is a crash course in everyday sustainable practices that can dramatically lower energy use. It's an introduction to home energy-use issues and offers concrete ways to make a difference. Many of the solutions are low tech and no cost/low cost.

We discuss how energy escapes from homes, ways to make a home or apartment less drafty, and how to guard against inattentive use of water and electricity.

The presenter is credentialed to perform Home Energy Audits by the Building Performance Institute (BPI)
