SJC hopes to you see many of our friends at this lovely holiday dinner hosted by St. Paul's Center of Caring (SPCC). All are welcome and we are very pleased to support this community building effort.
Join us if your schedule permits - this is a free event.
Here's the invite note from Chris Greene, Executive Director of SPCC -
Pardon us for celebrating Thanksgiving early -- Our next community dinner will be held in St. Paul's Community Hall a week from Sunday, November 24th. A delicious turkey dinner will be prepared by Chef Gabby Melian who is a member of the Jersey City Food Coop which operates (happily for us) out of St. Paul's.
Candlelight, music, conversation and good food served at table by volunteers from the Sharing Place, St. Paul's Church, the JC Food Coop, Sustainable Jersey City. A special mushroom entree will be available for those vegetarian neighbors and French Onion Soup au Gratin for ALL!
Join us at 5pm (or a little earlier to assure a place at the tables). Some special announcements about our RainGarden project will be shared just before we serve the big Thanksgiving dinner.
Blessings & Peace,Christopher GreeneED, St. Paul's Center of Caring
P.S. Please spread the word that our friend Jimmy King will once again host a Thanksgiving Day Turkey Dinner at St. John the Bapist Church on Kennedy Boulevard. They are prepared to serve nearly 600 persons that day, a delicious dinner prepared by the VIP Diner!.
