SJC Monthly Meeting - EAT, MEET, TALK !

Venue Announcement:

These SJC Monthly Meetings will now be held at CITY HALL, downtown Jersey City, a short walk from the Grove Street PATH; 1st Tuesday evening of every month 7-9pm; meeting format below.  This is our monthly business meeting open to the community.

SJC's new Monthly Meeting format will provide some local eats, an update on SJC community activities and a presentation by a community org, municipal official or a professional related to Greener Buildings, Energy Efficiency, Water Conservation and other sustainability topics of interest.

We've now combined our Monthly Community Building Meetup with our Experts Talk Series and hope this new format will be fun and educational for everyone.

Suggested food donation $5.00

Agenda:

7pm - EAT and network with other like-minded folks interested in a greener, cleaner JC.

** Important to RSVP here please so we have enough food for everyone.

7:30pm - MEET SJC Committee and Project Leaders for update on our activities and learn how to plug-in to these for your neighborhood.

8pm - TALK with JC Community Leaders, Municipal Officials and Field Professionals about VARIOUS Sustainability Topics important to Jersey City stakeholders; opportunity to get educated !

FEATURED SPEAKERS FOR MARCH -

Domenick Bauer - Mayor's Office, will be speaking about the Jersey City Bike Share Program.

We will also be discussing the Hudson County Bike Share feasability study and what is planned for Hoboken and Weehawken.  Wouldn't that be great if all three cities were connected with Bike Paths !!

SJC Green Drinks +ART will continue to be held at HCCC's Culinary Conference Center, a short walk from the Journal Square PATH; 3rd Thursday evening of every month 6:30-ish til 9pm-ish.  This is our monthly social event and is curated to entertain !
