What would help make Jersey City more sustainable, in your view?

This is a complicated question with an even more complicated answer! There are lots of things, I'm sure, but I would like to see more composting, more sustainable/passive buildings being built (there is a lot of new construction) and I just read a little about stormwater and CSO issues in JC so perhaps those could be addressed as well? Also more permaculture outreach and education would be helpful too! These are just some of my surface thoughts before heading to bed one evening!!

Have you taken our Welcome Survey ? This will give us a better idea about what areas you are most interested in so we can introduce you to people who have some of the same interests as you do, and who may even live in your neighborhood!

Introduction

Hi, I just moved to Jersey City a couple of months ago and am looking to meet people in the area who are passionate about sustainability and to collaborate on projects. I'm just about to finish up my PDC class from Andrew Faust on Dec 10!
