What would help make Jersey City more sustainable, in your view?

Bike lanes, improved building codes to include water retention in new construction (green roofs, etc.), smart and updated infrastructure (our sewer system needs to accommodate modern times & stop the flow into the Hudson River), it’s vital we combat climate change since so much of our city / Hudson County is vulnerable. I would LOVE to see our electricity come from our garbage :) many, many things, big & small...

Have you taken our Welcome Survey ? This will give us a better idea about what areas you are most interested in so we can introduce you to people who have some of the same interests as you do, and who may even live in your neighborhood!

Introduction

I live in Jersey City Heights and am interested in “being the change I want to see.” I believe in our community and in our potential as a model for sustainability. We live in an urban area, which means a small footprint, compared to other areas.
