Badger Bioneers 2013

You're invited to attend Badger Bioneers 2013, an annual conference held in Madison, Wisconsin that coalesces a cross-section of society to explore sustainability and social innovation through keynote talks, facilitated discussions, and workshops. Sustain Dane hosts the event in partnership with the University of Wisconsin Office of Sustainability. Over 200 people participated in the event in 2012.

Badger Bioneers 2013 presents two key themes: design thinking and sustainability communication. With considerable deliberation and investigation, we have decided to focus on these two themes as they are fundamental to the success of sustainability champions everywhere. Design thinking and sustainability communication are powerful, emerging ideas that expose new ways of understanding how we can collaborate and innovate to solve complex challenges and how we can effectively move others toward lasting behavioral change. Badger Bioneers participants will explore these two cutting-edge themes through distinguished speakers sessions, including skills-building exercises and challenges.

As a member of the Sustainable Living Network, you already understand the importance of green living. Take it to the next level by learning new tools for communicating and understanding the complex challenges of sustainability. You'll also be networking with other organizations with an eye toward sustainable practices.

Thanks, Leah! A great reminder. Union South is on many Metro bus lines, has a ton of bike racks, and a B-Cycle station.
