A special Film Screening of one of our favorite keynotes from the 2013 National Bioneers Conference. Community discussion to follow with local resources and Sustain Dane.
How can we shift from fossil fuels to 100% clean energy? How can we do it in a way that makes all of us richer, healthier and happier?

In this keynote, Billy Parish puts the power in our hands, arguing that people must participate in their own energy projects. This young leading change-maker turned social entrepreneur shows how our generation can shift to 100% renewable energy by employing the avant-garde crowdfunding techniques to democratize invest opportunities and spread distributed energy.

In 2002, he dropped out of Yale to found the Energy Action Coalition and grew it into the largest youth advocacy organization in the world working on the climate crisis. I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
