A note from Nancy Chase:
Greetings SIPN Family- I had the wonderful good fortune of meeting Celt Schira
http://transitionwhatcom.ning.com/profiles/blog/list?user=0a99ghcin8jvu at the Bellingham Seed Swap Sunday, and heard her workshop on all things seed saving and plant breeding for a captivating hour++ and was totally switched on. She is a delightful and joyful speaker and her passion for plants is contagious and the science ismade to be very obatainable in her entertaining and joyful presentation.
I have invited her to come join us on the 20th and we will be having her speak at 415P after we set our seeds on tables, so please arrive BY 4PM to be ready for her presentation. We will be better prepared to share and sow effectively with her experiences shared.
We will pass a hat for donations to cover her modest time/expense needs, however on a no-pressure basis. I enthusiastically invite you to come learn , so we can all share the bounty that is local seed saving and prepare for a great season ahead of sowed seed bounty with responsible choices, collection, storage and open-pollination processes.
